I bought an old set of Jay Scott grips in the 90's, and the guy told me they were from the 70's. The were faux pearl for a J-frame round butt. They were supposedly a reputable company that made aftermarket grips for guys who wanted the pearl or ivory look but w/o the cost. Kinda like Ajax grips have been the last 20 years or more.

The set I have is well made, and they look and feel good, but, the material they used on these to buffer the synthetic part from the frame of the gun (a thin layer of something that looked like wood) seemed to cause the frame of the old nickle plated terrier I put them on to rust slightly - so I only use them for display from time to time.

I believe the manufacturer (Jay Scott) was from Conn. or Mass. (there by Colt and S&W), and they made some quality aftermarket grips for both lines in the 50's, 60's & 70's.

I've never owned any JS grips but I've seen a lot of them. I think they are fine and if both the M15 and M10 are sq. butt they will fit.
