Two Piece Blue box, End label codes? "S" in "stock" section.
Model 27-2, circa 1972-1973. It has Magnas on it. Can't tell if they are original. Factory Box has "S" on the end label for stocks. What does the "S" stand for. Also, in the "front sight"section there is a code #34. The revolver has the Patridge front sight so I am hoping that's what #34 denotes. Thanks for any input. c good
Thanks Jack Flash. I think I just figured it out. I forgot that Magnas are also known as "Service" stocks. I guess I should dig into my SCSW a little deeper before I give up and post up here! Still can't find any info on the front sight code #34. Anyone else? c good
"S" stands for service. At that time commonly known as magna stocks. The right grip should be numbered to the gun. I believe #34 indicates patridge front without red ramp.
