Default model 36 nickle square butt dob and value

Curious when this one was made #j300778 its is mint, no wear, matching grips, what are these selling for? thanks guys

Looks like a 1976 production. My nickel SB 36 is from 1975 with a serial # of J2807xx. I carried it many years off duty. Prices seem to vary by region. Here in Maryland I expect your 36 would fetch $425 - 450. My well used and bobbed hammer old gal is below:

I recently got this like new 36 no dash from 1976 and paid $450. Maybe a little high but you don't find like new ones every day.
