Default Airweight Chief's Special Value

What's a fair price for a shooter+ quality Cheif's Airweight? I looked at some auctions for comparison but prices are all over the board. I did notice that prices for Airweight J-Frames are generally cheaper than the steel framed counterparts. Opinions please...

$250-300 depending on condition of "shooters grade".

Airweights are more subject to frame stretching or 6 o'clock forcing cone area frame cracks. An ugly finish does not detract from its shooter value.
