A September Model 29-1
S229224, shipped September 20, 1962 to Charles Greenblatt in New York. This revolver is fitted with an old style extractor rod with a right-hand thread and has a three screw frame like the vast majority of 29-1s known (only two of the approximately twenty-five 29-1s known have a 4-screw frame and an extractor rod with a left-hand thread).
Model 29-1s are highly sought after by collectors of this model, but are found only infrequently.

Bill--
Your firearms are always mag--nificent, thank you for sharing. I'm even more impressed however with the photos themselves. Mind sharing what you're using and how you accomplish such beautiful photographs ?
Thanks
Steve

Jim...I have not shot this one. I bought it from Harrison Carroll about twenty years ago along with a 1950 Target 44 with a 4-inch barrel.
