Default A question about K-frame Target Hammer and Target Trigger

I have a 1971 vintage Model 19 that I would like to upgrade with Target Hammer and Target Trigger. I plan on keeping the parts that are removed so that any future owner can return it to it's original configuration.

The gun is a low round count shooter with a lot of wear on the finish from sliding around in a desk drawer for about 30 years. It had a set of ****** rubber grips on it when I bought the gun.

I believe that there were several different TH/TT widths offered. Can anyone tell me what they were? Any suggestions as to the best place to find the parts I'm looking for?

TIA,
Matt G

The true target hammer and target trigger are .500 inch wide and that is what I would have installed if the revolver were mine. The 19-3 shown below was fitted with a TH and TT at the factory and shipped in October 1971.

Talking TH/TT Question

+1 on what Doc44 advises. That's a beautiful M19, by the way.

Thanks for the info and help.

Beautiful Model 19 BTW. I wish mine was as nice cosmetically. But then, I guess I wouldn't have been able to buy it for $200.
