Thanks. A bit newer than I thought. I thought 14-4's were a bit older. Looks really nice - the guy changed up the grips to some funky rubber ones but the blue is perfect and trigger feels like it's on bearings. Think <$400 is a good price?

In another concurring word, yes. The nice thing is that correct grips both magna and target are easy to find. If you get it post a pic or two.

Thanks guys! I called the dealer and had him put it in the safe 'till Monday when NICS opens...The Pachmyer grips don't feel so bad but I really would like to get the walnut target grips. Is GB the best place to find them, or???
Will post pics once I get it home.

Check on here often in the accessories for the grips that your looking for. Next will be the box, and cleaning kit. Kyle

GOT IT! Aside from the grips (which aren't as bad as they look) it's fantastic.
Shot it today, small groups with factory ammo straight from the store, no adjustments...

Carexpert,
Congrats on your find of that very nice 14-4. It is always nice when they not only look good but are great shooters.
FYI there is no such thing with S&Ws as a manufacture date. The S&W records only list the date that they were shipped from the factory.
