Default M27-2 to share

I think this is my first time on the 61-80 forum. Most posts have been on the earlier one to 1960.
Anyway, I picked this up a while back from a guy on one of the gun forums.M27-2 with factory 3T's. I think I did good at $470 shipped. It is a good 98%+++, but I didn't get a box. Shoots real well too. Thanks, Big Larry

Nice looking 357 you have there, is it pinned and recessed?

Sure is. It is a M27-2 (N 327579) (1976). 6" bbl. My favorite 357 is a 1967 vintage Python, but don't tell the S&W guys that. Thanks, Big Larry

Got 13 S&W's of several models. Mostly shooters. Been looking for a matching post WW2 K38 with the slim bbl. and all I find have mis matched grips. Seems to be a big problem. My favorites are my two early K22's. Big Larry

Big Larry, that is one fine lookin' specimen. Well done.

I have managed to avoid the temptations of the Model 27's since I was in college, but I stumbled last weekend and snared a 5" and a 31/2" in the same day.

I promised Itchy I would go for counseling very soon.

I keep kicking myself as a couple years back at the Reno gun show, I found an old pre 27 with a long bbl. Not the nicest one I have ever seen but 100% correct and maybe 95%. It was cheap, I kept going back to it, and I think I spent my $$$ on a Winchester M52 instead. Oh well. You cannot have them all. Big Larry
