I just noticed my older Colt conversion kit has a pretty
good blue shine to it or maybe it's just the contrast with the
matte blue Colt Liteweight govt frame! Pete

Pretty guns for sure
This .38/.44 Outdoorsman has nice finish - 100% I'm told. Will be selling soon - trying to determine fair price.

Sorry but my photographic skills are nowhere near as beautiful as the
finish on my S&W Model 27.

Here's an interesting shot I took outdoors on a cloudy day... the 15-3 is positioned on a mirror.
The "address side" can be seen in the reflection.

All right Bruce - I assume the above photo was just a teaser for something more to come. That photo is like telling me that you got a handsome new pinstripe suit that you want me to see, but the photo you share only shows the cuff on one leg of the trousers... I guess what I'm saying is that I'd love to see the rest of that model 53.

I am pretty impressed with the bluing on my model 19-3.
This picture doesn't do it enough justice.
Here is my model 15-2 that has been reblued several times,
most recently by yours truly. I think it turned out pretty good, it's a
wonder it survived. It's all about the prep work.

I should really add a couple/few.....
The newest, a special order gun from the Robert Petersen collection, a mid-50's super gloss blue request....I am lucky to be the newest owner...
Here is my stellar 38/44 Outdoorsman......
a MODERN Registered Magnum....in fact, a pair of them with matching serial#s.....
A Magnificent blueing on a Combat .22 Jet....as good as it gets....
An Early Model 29...
As a .32 collector, another favorite.....
An early gun done by a masterful blueing expert....

Here is an M29-3 that I took some pictures with outside. I did not realize till later how the finish mirrored the blue sky, the sun, the trees near my house, and even the barn in the distance.
Sad that someone scratched it up like that, but was reflected in the price so I can't complain too much. Oh heck, I'll complain anyways!
