Model 40 - lemon squezzer grips
Greetings - I'm new to this forum.
Seeking suggestions/recommendations for grip makers to replace my small factory round-butt wood grips with something better to hold-on with. The M-40 has the back-strap-safety.
My M-40 will be used as an alternating back-up pocket carry with a Seecamp-32.
Suggestions are encouraged - thanks,

Welcome to the forum
I dont have any specific suggestions, but whatever you go with MUST be for a Centennial (40 or 42) as the grip frame is different than a normal J frame.

My best recommendation is to get a Tyler T grip which adds to the grlip size without affecting anything else.

I put a Hogue Bantom on my Modle 66. The back strap is wide open. I'm sure they have it for a J-Frame. Just another option.

Ihave to agree a Tyler "T"grip is a great addition to any of the J frames. I don't carry or have ever shot my model 40 but heres a pic.

Tyler T-Grips
They add a little width to the handles for shooting, look crazy good and add a hint of class. Everything I look for in a fine old Smith.

I'll cast another vote for Eagle Secret Service grips.
