Default N frame 57 Presentation case

What is a going price on a 1980 4 inch 57 presentation case with all the papers and tools in decent shape.

I would guess between $50-$125 depending on actual condition and who is shopping for one at the time. I have seen absolutely pristine cases go for more.

I agree with SP's post above, and-

For a 1980 gun, you will be looking for one that places the gun facing to the right with the tool compartment covered by a one piece lid like the one below (though this one is for a 6" gun)-

Before being re-lined by forum member jcelect-

That case was used from '74- '79, so you would be correct on the date, but it's possible that it came with a gun shipped after that time, since S&W didn't throw away anything, and used up what they had in inventory until it was gone.

I've bought several in the last year or so for $80- $100 in about the same condition as yours is, and with the tools papers etc.
