I was at my local gunshop doing some "Christmas Browsing" the other day and spotted this little M 38.
Looks like its a every day carrying gun for someone, some finish are wore off around trigger guard, muzzle, etc, stock has a couple of small chip, bore looks good, doesn't seems have shot a lot but from marks on the recoil shield, I guess this revoler have gone thru more than a few loading; unloading cycle. Alloy frame and cylinder, live up to its name of Airweight, serial # is J191xxx, so its a early 1970 production.
I think I did OK with it, got it out of door for $220, perhaps mainly due to most of the customers of this particular gunshop prefer semi autos, round guns just didn't move very well, except the cowboy action stuff.
