Default Polishing the trigger face on my 65-2

My 65-2 had a serrated trigger when I bought it. I don't particularly care for serrated triggers. So I made a search for polishing the trigger face on this forum, and lo and behold, there it was! So I very carefully took my Dremel tool and a tapered grinding stone to the trigger face, followed by a 120 grit sanding drum, and now I have a trigger that I like immensely. How simple is that?

Thanks to the fine folks on the S&W forum for the info!

I smoothed my Chief's Special trigger. Serrated triggers grind into my finger rather uncomfortably.

In the early 70's I sent a mod 29 to 300 gunsmith svc run by Fred Sadowski, for an action job. He suggested a rounded and smooth polished trigger. The trigger face is the same with as the trigger top. I wasn't sure I wanted that done, but it made a great improvement in how the gun handles. Made the N frame stocks seem to fit my hand better.
