Newly aquired 19-3
I recently got this 19-3 with a 1974 birth date from Gunbroker for $356.75. With the shipping on both ends I have $410 invested.
It came with Hogue Mono grips that felt really good but I wanted a nicer look and grips that are not so large, so I put on these Rosewood grips that I got here from another forum member.
While I haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet, the trigger pull is amazingly smooth and it is nice and tight in operation.
It is in nice mechanical shape and looks just fine for a shooter.
I intend to carry this at times and while this is not a steal in immaculate condition as some others have posted here, I am happy to have it. The same seller on Gunbroker listed another Model 19 right after I bought this one in the same kind of generic blue plastic case, which is marked "Tallahassee" as well as having the basic gun info.
My impression is that this may be a retired Tallahassee Police Dept gun and that the seller is selling them off one by one, though I may be entirely wrong about that.

Beautiful gun. Congratulations. I shot my new (to me) 19-4 earlier this week, and was very impressed with it. I'm sure you will enjoy yours.

May not be an outright steal, but that's a darn good price!
You will not regret buying that one. I think the M19 may not be the "perfect gun" some claim it to be, but no one can doubt it was/is a great balance of power and handiness.

Sure. The current one is not as clean as the one that I got, but the price is still low. He will put another one up after this one is gone I suspect.

I put about 800 .38 Specials through my 19-3 this weekend. 3.4 Bullseye under 125 gr lrnfp. Nice light accurate load for me.
I put a wolff spring kit in mine and Ahrends reto combat grips. Great shooter.

I picked up one recently at a gunshow. 19-4 is mint 99%+ with TH,TT,TS for $425 and figure I got a darn good deal. It has replaced my house gun and go-to gun. I temporarily replace the targets with a set of PC magnas that fit my hand better.

I think it's a great looking sidearm. If it's tight & timmed, I think you got a good price on it. Maybe $150.00 less or so for they are going for around here. The bluing looks great! The 19-3's are highly prized more so than any other of the 19's. Enjoy it!
