I found a S&W Model 10, 4in, HB, Sq.B. Has MSP on the back strap. Slightly out of time but tolerable and can be fixed, tolerable end-shake, no crane slop. Locks up good. Bore is good. Has diamond magma grip which are in good shape. Has the Tyler adaptor ,old style, black, with one smooth countour and the brass strips to hold it on. Very little pitting in one area and a lot of holster wear.

In addition I want to use this pistol to learn some additonal gun-smithing skills. I already own a mint Model 10 rb,hb,4in.

Thinking about blasting the metal & bluing it.

I can purchase it for $195.00?? Is it worth it? What do you think?? Appreciate any advise

Would make a good bedroom or knock around gun. You can save the nice one for controlled range shooting. Larry
