22LR to 22 WMR conversion
Does anyone know where I can buy a J-frame 6-chamber 22 mag cylinder? Aluminum preferred, any finish steel OK. S&W factory has none.

I too, have an aluminum cylindered Model 43.
I don't think Smith, ever made a cylinder in .22 Mag, but I think the Max pressure of the .22 Rimfire, and the Mag., are similar.

The modern alloy J-frames in .22 Magnum are 7-shooters.
