Default Mod 60 info

I looked at an early mod 60 no dash at a gun show price seemed okay at $325 but when I looked down the barrel ,rifling seemed faint. I looked at a model 36 later and it looked the same way. Could the rifling be that wore , or are they all just faint on 2 in barrel. Hope this does not sound stupid I just thought it was a good price, aside from rifling. Thanks

The rifling in a Mod 60 in order to have been worn down would have had to have had several hundred thousand rounds put through it. I'm sure what you saw was a typical mod 60 and mod 36 rifling. $325 is a good buy for a mod 60 if in decent shootable shape.
