Any one seen a 6" 66 with all stainless sights?
I realize a six incher would have to have been special ordered but so many odd ball variations of everything pop up on this site than some one might have one.

No it was not special ordered.
Model 66s came with stainless steel sights from the day they were introduced
That is until too many people complained about the poor sight picture.

The 6" barrel wasn't cataloged until 1978, into the -1 change and a few years after they went to the red ramp and blued rear sight. A Model 66 earlier than that was most likely a special order.
I have seen a few Model 66 (no dash) with 6" barrels but they all had red ramp FS and blued rear sights.

That is a great looking gun. I thought all the 66s with stainless rear sight were made without a red insert in their front sight. It could be another case of S&W unintentionally creating an unusual configuration getting all their miscelaneous parts used up.
