Default My S&W Model 14, 17 & 66

These guns are in the original boxes wrapped in wax paper, clear back in the back of the safe. I have been reading everyone's post and thought I would share.
Enjoy,
SDC

Keep the 14 & the 17 NIB, shoot the stainless one.

I love old hang tags, they've got more soul than a barcode on a lable.

Sir,

Thank you for sharing pictures of some wonderful guns.

My curiosity is getting the best of me: the tag on the 17 says, if I'm reading correctly, "All target"; but it isn't wearing target grips. Did you replace them with magnas at one time or another?

Andy

That's a great question, my Grandfather gave these to me for Christmas last year along with the rest of his collection (I know, I'm a lucky man). He had both the box and paper work for all three. I dont have any other grips for this gun. Could it be that the gun has adjustable sights?
Looking forward to passing these down to my boys one day.

Are the grips numbered to the gun? Take 'em off and see.

BTW, that's a great collection. A 6" Model 14, for me anyway, is the perfect shooter.
