Default m-17 received from S&W

It arrived today, end shake repair, new side plate screws, new bbl pin, and reblue and it looks marvelous. Looking forward to the trip to the range. Pics will follow as soon as time allows. The guys at S&W did a great job.

Congratulations with getting the revolver to the point that you wanted it and you made the right choice having S&W do the work. I'm all for this hobby, addiction, or sport and you can use the term you choose but to me it's an individual hobby with no right or wrong answers. I've had several guns refinished or modified because I wanted it the way I wanted it.

So my hat is off to you for doing what you wanted. It will be a great shooter and hopefully though I doubt it but I hope you will do your best to wear it out. I said I doubt it because I'm not sure you can in one lifetime.

Great to hear about the service. Look forward to the pics . I'm thinking about having some work done myself. Let us know how she shoots too.
