Wait until you carry it a while. Just about the smallest thing you can call a real gun. J frames are OK, too, for some people, but the 2" 15, in a world of compromises, doesn't give up much.
P.S. God did save the South. The North is in worse trouble right now.

sw44spl,
cooooooooooooooool
Here's a nickel 15 with a set of Sile's grips on it.Took the Pac's rubber finger grove square to round but grips of. This thing carries very well and shoots very very well and oh so smoooooooth. Those Sile's made a big difference. This was Xmas gift a few years ago from the "woman of the house"(wife)

Sell the t-Grip and recoup half your cost.

I have a snub M15 that has had Parkerizing and hard chrome done to it.
The price was good though and the the two-tone look grew on me.
It's a great shooter and goes to the range almost every trip I make.
It feels better to me than my short M19 and M66.
If I could find a nickeled one at a reasonable price I'd grab it in a second.

Beautiful gun. Ok, so here's my question -- and no, I'm not trying to hijack this thread. Why do you suppose that Smith made its 15 snubs square butt while the 19 snubs are mostly round butt? And why are the 15s 2" whereas the 19s generally are 2 1/2"?

I am contemplating on making a 1 7/8 md 15 round butt. I don't know why Smith never made it.

If those black pearls are Jay Scott or similar quality I would offer to buy them from you. I like those; slightly tacky, yet refined.
