Default Stopped by the local shop today....

They had some nice used Smith's:

A mint 67 no dash with stainless sights and presentation grips. Looked unfired, for $500.
A nice 66 no dash, again with stainless sights but rubber grips for $475.
And a NIB 8 3/8" nickel Model 27 w/presentation case for $875.

See anything there I should jump on?

The model 66 sounds to be the best deal, especially if a 2.5".

Sorry, both the 66 and 67 are 4".

I'm in IL, the LAST State without some sort of concealed carry.

The shop is Village Sports Center in Arlington Heights (847) 956-1133, if anyone is interested. I was tempted by the 67, but all my guns are shooters and those stainless sights leave me cold. But if that was a great price........

I think I wpuld jump on a no dash M66 for that price unless it had been shot to death.

I think I'd be $500 + $475 + $875 poorer but be the happy owner of three great revolvers

That 66 in 4" would be hard for me to pass up. Unfortunately shipping and transfer fees would make it not so desirable a deal for me.

I have a 66 No dash so I would probably make an offer on the 67 No dash. The 27 seems to be priced pretty close to what see them for sale at, not sure if she is a bit on the high side..
