Came across another 27-2 shorty.
I popped into a hole-in-the-wall pawnshop near me that never has anything worthwhile. The owner finally decided to put some goodies out - but he priced everything the same for some reason. A plain jane 4 inch 66 - $695. A Taurus PT 9mm - $695. A raggedy Colt 1908 .25 - $695. And this 1964ish S-prefix 27-2 at you guessed it.
It had Hogues on it, which I used to weasel him down to $600 out the door - not a steal, but not too bad either.
I put these Magnas and a Tyler T on it until I find something more suitable.

A fair deal.
A great gun.
Thank you for not putting target stocks on it.

If it were mine I would keep and shoot as is. Looks like a Kramer holster propping the ole 27 up.

Sir, if I remember correctly this is the second M-27 3 1/2" you have run into in the last year, at a give away price. No disrespect but I'm really starting to dislike you .

I second that exact sentiment...
Great find though. I must find one someday.

That's a decent price for a -2 gun. Much more realistic than a couple others I've seen posted recently for $1200 to $1400...... Don't know what those sellers are thinking.....

This 27-2 was $650 on Gunbroker as pictured.
The finish is a flawless blue/black and I sold the Hogues for $60 to a Forum member.
Without the original grips I think $650 is a low-end of the market price for a 3.5 inch 27-2 in excellent condition.
