Default Let's see your K-frame snubbies

I've recently become fascinated by K-frame snubbies. I find that the Ks have the best triggers of all of Smith's revolvers and the combination of modest size, barrel length, and horsepower make these the ideal companion guns. Here are my two, a 19-3 and a 64-2. Both of these are working handguns, each has a few minor dings and scratches, both are superb shooters. I am particularly impressed with the 64. At 10 yards it groups my off hand shots into an area of about 1" x 2". Not bad for a fixed sight gun.

So, let's see yours!

Fantastic! Keep 'em coming. What I like about a lot of these is that they are obviously work horses. These K snubs just shout "carry me."

My model 15 with bling. One of my good friends did the stocks with the turn of the century "triple lock" medallions, which I know isn't period correct, but I think very cool.

My Ashland 66 3"-2. It was a workhorse for years. Great shooter to boot.

My 19-3 with Executioners stags and a repainted Tyler. Carried this for two+ years in an Alessi SH as my motorcycle weapon. After a few good soakings in T-Storms went to back to packing my Colt Commander as the 19's pristine and I have the original box, paperwork and tools.

I only have a couple that fit in that category, a Mod 15 and a Mod 19 (The Mod 19 has a Metaloy finish).

Does a 3" count, maybe not but this 65-3 is one of my favorites.

I know it's outta this forums relm but I'm REALLY jonesin' for a 686+ 2.5" with a set of smooth Ahrends. Tho there's a 19 on Auction arms that's nickel and really should follow me home.

Imashooter, that looks like a smooth target trigger on your CDC 64-4. I wonder if that was something that the California Department of Corrections special ordered from Smith? My 64-2 has a grooved combat trigger and I'd always thought that these were standard with the gun.

This is my contribution. Model 19-5. This was an old police gun that was beat beyond all recognition. I think that the officer must have carried it in the shower with him and used it as a hammer around the house. But as is the case with most of these guns it was tight so I took a chance on it. I sent it back to the factory and this is what they sent me back. I think they switched it with another gun! The only defect is a bit of pitting on one side of the barrell. It's so slight that I couldn't photograph it. I only wish that I had taken a before photo because you can't believe what they did with this gun.
