Is there a thread that links to a video describing how to disassemble my S&W 500? I want to remove the flag, and was watching a video of someone that disassembled a 686, then removed the flag. The problem is the S&W 500 has an extra part that the hammer has to clear before I can lift the hammer free, and the mainspring is not a plunger-type, but a leaf spring that appears to be secured by a screw in the bottom of the grip frame. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
