FHP carried the Model 66 for a short time when they first came out. Because they qualified with actual magnum loads, they had problems with some of them binding as they heated up, so they soon traded them in for 5" Model 27's. I have an FHP M66 in really nice shape. (No, it ain't for sale.)

Default FHP

Hey Sir, I really like the information you supplied for rack numbers on FHP handguns. I have a Colt Trooper early model With a FHP rack number and I have a friend that has the S&W model 66 with a rack number. I know this is a long shot but could you suggest a range of value.

My Trooper is in great shape, with some wear on the right side of the frame. My friends model 66 is like new.

Thank you in advance, Ron.
