Outstanding display of the all time classic revolver.

Wells now, that's a nice round number...

Had an uncle that like those little Browning 22 in Grade III configeration...
Think he wound up with about that many as well.

A feller got to have sumkinda ambition ain't he?

Nice collection there Sal,

Su Amigo,
Dave

The n-frame fanatics claims had eluded me until I decided to get a 27.
Come to realize it's the flattest shooting, best looking, and an easy favorite of the revolvers I've owned.
Great guns Ditrina.

Wow! Check out that prop rod! Sal, if Dick keeps forcing you to buy those 27's, you're going to need a bigger safe!

Now if they were all Mod 29's.

That would be Heaven...

Just kidding Sal, that is one NICE Collection.

The Mod 27 is THE Classic S&W Revolver.

Even a Mod 29/Mod 25 [in 45 ACP] freek like me should be able to admit that.

I have had a couple of Mod 27's in the past.

I am almost "ashamed", I do not have one now.
The 3 1/2" would be my favorite.
I think that is the best "Looking" S&W revolver ever made.

Sal, that is an incredible array of Smiths finest. I finally got to see that "longsnouted" one at the tail end. Fine assemblage you have my man.

Thumbs up BEAUTIFUL

Sal:

Very nice collection! I see 3.5", 4", 5", 6" and 8.375" (how can you have only one long tube 27?), BUT I do not see any 6.5" 27's.

Did I just miss the 6.5"?

Congratulations on the collection!

I spotted the first one he bought. Anybody want to guess which one? Sal, we could get a contest going here with contributions going to the forum.

Here's a clue to make it easy for you, it's right next to one I sold him.

Holy ****! NEVER have seen so many 27's together in my lifetime. Congrats! I love my 3.5" 27-2. Would post it but would pale in comparison to your collection.

Very nice indeed. And your address in Central Fl. is? I'm from Clearwater.

Good golly Ms. Molly, now that's a M27 collection. Those pictures caused more drool than my great dane slobbering away from the water bowl.

I'm almost sure I read in the BATFE regulations a series of federal laws about hoarding handguns. And one of them might have been specifically discussing M27s.

However your collection is just one short of breaking the law..............

The only thing that keeps me from being totally jealous of a collection like that is the money I DON'T have to spend on a collection like that. Beautiful guns. Thanks for the photos!

Default The missing one!

Hey Sal
The one you are missing looks like this!

Now I know why I can't find a 3 1/2" for my buddy! Those Ivory targets belong on the nickel guns!
I haven't forgot about your hinges, I just haven't had time to order some for myself yet!

Nice set!

For some reason I'm thinking about having rack of lamb for dinner and listening to Lionel Hampton recordings afterwards.
