Thank you! The reason I am asking is that I ordered a barrel for a Model 10 from Numrich and what I received today was a Stainless Barrel. The Model 10 belongs to my daughter-in-law. I was using it and got a bullet stuck in the barrel(reload), didn't realize it , shot twice more and bulged the barrel. No injuries except my pride and ego.
I will get in touch with Numrich and get this resolved.
Thanks for you help.

With Numrich there are two possibilities. First, they did ship a Model 64 barrel, they are good for getting things wrong. Or, second, you received a barrel "In the white", or, in other words, unfinished.
Unless you understand everything that is involved in changing and fitting a revolver barrel, I suggest you take the gun to a gunsmith that does. He could also check the barrel you received to determine if it is stainless, bare steel, or possibly even Nickel plated.

model 10 barrel
Mossguy, if needed I have a very nice 5" and 6" model 10 barrel, $55 for the 5" and $60 for the 6", plus $5 shipping.

Alk, I'm pretty sure I received a stainless Model 64 barrel. What I am very sure about is that it is not blued.
The gun is at, and has been at, the gunsmith's for several weeks waiting on a barrel. They will do the work. Way over my pay grade. I appreciate the caveat.
Silvertip, I am assuming that the barrels that you have are blued. I may take you up on the 5" if things don't get resolved with Numrich. Thanks for the offer!

Hi Tom, yes the two model 10 barrels are blue. If you need a barrel, please send a pm so that I will be sure to see it.

The blued barrel that I received from Silvertip was installed by the local gunsmith last Thursday. We took it to the range, fired 100 rounds through it without any problem, accuracy was/is excellent! The new barrel is nicer than the one it replaced so daughter-in-law is very happy.
Thanks Silvertip!
Best,
Tom
