Looking for...J frame SMOOTH Magna grips for Model 36
Hey...brand new to the forum as I just purchased a 1967 Model 36...
can't wait til it gets here!!!
Anyway...have seen your photos of all your J frames sportin' the
smooth, non-checkered S&W magna grips...where can I get some?
Debating between those...or some Eagle Secret Service...or VZ has
some cool grips...???
Thanks for the help...

Welcome to the forum.
You might consider taking out an ad in the WTB section of the classifieds. PLEASE read the WTB classifieds rules first (stickies at the top of the listings).

I'm rather fond of Craig Spegel's work. My 36-1 is a square-butt gun.

The magna smooths are usually the late production laminated ones. Did you mean these instead of the magnas? Heres my set on my model 60. I think they shipped on 4" Kit Guns primarily. They are neither easy to find nor cheap when you do.

these came on my pre 36. Don't know if they were common but I haven't seen any others. And no, they're not for sale

S&W's own website had J- Smooth Magnas listed recently...
The last time I was at the Shooting Center these were available over the counter... they looked to be Goncalo.
Why not give them a call or drop them a line?

Check CDNN Investments
Look at the grips section at CDNN Investments for Smith and Wesson grips. I think they have what you want.
