Had a 27 bought, I thought, a coupla weeks back but deal went South. Sal pm ed me "Just hold on another one will come along and it will be better." Sal knows 27's He was right. Lgs called today and I beat feet to get over there. This one, I don't believe has been fired except at factory. And the trigger is just incredible. Serials to 1975/77. I have been waiting for a long time for this one. Yessir, Sal was right. Am shooting in cowboy action match this weekend so it will have to wait a coupla days for christening.
Regards

Beautiful! Those things are hard to come by, as it took me several months to find a nice one. I also had Sal as my coach. He is "Mr. 27", if there ever was anyone with the title, and a very nice guy in the bargain. Congratulations on quite a collector piece. I am not shooting mine, but hey, it's yours now! This is what I got after waiting!

dlbx2, that one is georgeous. I wonder why, in all the presentation boxs I have anyway, the brush does not fit into the handle and then fit into the slot? That has always amazed me. That is one fine 27 you have there. Mine will have turn lines, and haze spots, etc. by middle of next week. I just have to shoot it. It has the finest trigger I have on any of my many Smiths. Just incredible.
