Default Model 14-3 Date of Manufacture
Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here. I am the proud new owner of a model 14-3 "triple T" and I'm looking to find the date of manufacture. The serial no. is 1k41292. Thanks for the help!

If you email S&W and include the serial & model # they get back to you in about a week w/the info. I've done this several times.

1971 1K39501- 1K99999. I have 1K23xx from a year earlier. Great guns.

I have K-22, Serial # 18K46XX, Model 17-3 made in 1977. My target grip is checkered. It also is a great gun.

OP, I own 1K31323, a 14-3 with 8 3/8" barrel. It shipped 9/71.
