Default 65-1 with VERY wide trigger question

Hello, I ran across a 65-1 at a LGS and it had a very wide smooth trigger. It wasn't flash chromed color like the narrow hammer it had nor was it case hardened. I have never seen the likes. Much wider than a target trigger, I would guess close to 1/2". It actually felt good, and I liked it! Anyone seen such a thing before?
Thanks

True S&W Target Trigger does actually measure .500"
If you had some pictures it'd help with identity, well maybe.
BTW, S&W triggers were/are available in several different widths, including the "standard" non-target .260" and .400" semi-target.

target trigger seems out of place on a 65 and is most likely a replacement. The standard trigger was probably original and makes more sense on a fixed site service weapon.
