Default Need to make a decision

I've got two deals in work but I can only afford one right now.
What would you gentlemen decide given price was equal?

1st is a Model 10-7 4 inch in 98% finish and 100% mechanical

2nd is Model 64-5, a 4 incher, also near perfect.

Neither the 10 nor the 64 have boxes or papers and both do not appear to be police turn in's.

Which one should I grab?

What do you plan to do with it?
Carry and range shooting...M64
Keep 98% with thoughts of selling some day...M10
MHO.

Stainless Steel is my Friend - so much easier to clean!
Dash five is also a Heavy Barrel which would be a plus for me.

I have stainless, and blued Smith revolvers. Stainless finish is much more forgiving! That being said, why do I have 3 blued, and 2 stainless. I like them both. Have a 10-8, love it, have a 65-3, & 67 no dash.(stainless) I do not have a 64, so that's what I would do for that reason. Decisions are hard to make sometimes! Bob

I would go for the Model 64 because it's stainless. That said one of my favorite revolvers is a 10-5 with 4 inch barrel.

I'd save my money for good model 66.

Personally I would go for the Model 10. While Stainless can't be beat for carry, there's nothing quite like Walnut & Blue Steel!

OK, here's the "rest of the story". I bought both even though I may eat dog food this month. The M10-7 is s/n 10D6XXX and the 64-5 is s/n BHT19XX. I have tried to post pix of both with no sucess; will keep trying. Plan on a range day tomorrow so I'll see if these beauties shoot as well as they look.

That's the best choice by far. Dog food doesn't taste *that* bad!
