What does "Sage Custom" Refer to?

After taking off the grips to determine whether my Model 19 is a round or square butt, I found engraved on the bottom corner of the square butt, "Sage Custom".

Is anyone familiar with who/what "Sage Custom" is?

Or could this possibly just be a former owners personal identifying mark?
