I think they've added a couple of hundred because it has the Indiana State Police markings and the LGS is in Indiana like you, I assume. I do understand the attraction of having one's own state's agency gun, though, as I bought a North Carolina State Highway Patrol M66-1 two years ago from a former trooper. He had received the gun as a gift when he graduated from the patrol Academy in the '90s, so he had never carried it, and he had left the patrol later for another LE job so he didn't have any special desire to keep it. It's my favorite K frame now, and the $625 I paid for it is, in retrospect, one of my best gun deals.
