Default Smooth, No Emblem, N-Targets??

Got these from a friend. They look S&W, but have no emblem or stock circle. Do any of the stock collectors have an idea about the origin? Hope I'm in the right section.

I have no idea who made them, but if they were mine, I would send them to one of our stock makers and have a set of S&W monograms installed.

That is a great idea, Bill. Thank you. You probably don't want to play favorites, but any recommendations? A PM would work.

I don't think they are S&W, because they don't have washers, and when S&W stopped using washers they all had speed loader cutouts on the left panel.

The set pictured has a football cutout, but no washers, which leads me to believe they are not S&W, because I don't believe that combination ever existed as a S&W option.

I believe Eagle and Herrett's made non-medallion stocks similar to the factory type, but don't know which these are specifically.

I'm no fashion leader, but I was told they would look good on a nickel gun. Here is my 57 with them. Silver S&W medallions would really look good.

Nice looking combination. I like the wood and they appear to be well made. Good luck with the medallions. They would add to the overall appearance.

If they were mine I'd install S&W medallions.

They are well made. I can't even see the front strap seam when on the gun. I have an old set of diamond magnas with totally trashed wood but good medallions. They will be the donor.
