Mine is a S&W 686, .357 mag, 6" barrel. No pics, its my neighbors. Fun to shoot though. People around you wonder what your shooting when they hear the KABOOOM of the .357 round.

I call it Franky, it started life as a 28-2 six inch. Wasn't in terrible condition but I picked up a brand new 4 inch barrel and wanted to give it a try just once. Turned out to be pretty easy to change and the gun is a tack driver. Of course I just prefer shooting with the presentation grips, not as rough on the hands. It's always in the range bag.

I've shot some pretty good groups ( for me ) with this 6 inch 586...
... it's sportin' combat grips in this pic but a set of targets are the stocks I keep on it now.

Little question in my mind at this time, this one.
4" 624 ND
Absolute laser!
I'll admit, there's one or two others that are capable of similar accuracy and let's face it, all the revolvers are fun for the range bag.
Here's one that is known for making that single large hole in the target.
25-7
This one makes 170g cast rounds at maximum velocity feel like target wadcutters. Accuate too. It shot the target below with such rounds at 15 yards.

What a stunning setup. I just ordered a set of retro combats for my 29-2 6" and will be thrilled if they look half as good as yours.

Pre 14's have got to be my favorite range guns. They are just incredibly accurate and just a pleasure to heft, point, and squeeze. The 14's are the best for killin paper. Including the 14-3.

Nothing shabby about showing up with a 1972 Model 66, best trigger in the safe.
This Brand X gun gets a lot of attention too.
Cause it likes to do stuff like this 1/2" group at 25yds.

Had to take a second look at that until I noticed the front sights. Nice twist for a 6" 586 with those grips.

My favorite range guns are these .32 K frames. All are extremely pleasant to shoot with .32 long ammo, and the top two can provide a little extra pop with .32 magnums. This target illustrates just how accurate they can be, and also how even a blind hog shoots a decent group um, er, finds an acorn every now and then...

Here's our top "tack driver".
I say ours, I bought it and my wife shot so well with it the first time out that it somehow became her's.
Below is my favorite gun to shoot, which surprised me at first because we have others that,
on the face of things, you would think would be "better," like a 4" Model 686.
This one is also a stone cold tack driver and while shooting it I find myself backing up further & further
across the yard with, I'm sure, my grin getting bigger & bigger the further back from the target I get.

My favorite range gun is my 27-3 4". I shoot exclusively .357 with it. It seems not to care whether I fire 125 or 158 gr. ammo and it gets excellent results with factory ammunition.
