It was only there 20 minutes!!!!
Gents, I checked in at small lgs (almost didn't) after lunch yesterday. Walked over to the used (Non polymer) small display case and I asked "When did this come in?" "Twenty minutes ago" was the reply. Got her for a song too. I guess we all get lucky. My old snubby 15-3 is at the Smittys and this new 4" will help with the seperation anxiety.

That is a very nice revolver !! It definitely should help with that separation anxiety. Someone took very good care of that one.

I love it when that happens!
Last November, I went into my LGS, and the owner, Jeff, told me he had just gotten something in I might want to see. It was a Colt Officers Model Match .38 Spec., about 98%, and it hadn't even touched the shelf. It never did touch the shelf!

That case coloring is so vivid it almost looks as though the hammer was painted! Absolutely gorgeous.
And radiused PC stocks, too. What a score. Congratulations!

Great score.I got lucky last year at one of my lgs and also picked up a 15-3 for a great price.It is a very accurate shooting gun and I am happy.I am sure you will enjoy yours.

Thanks guys, I will take close up tomorrow of the hammer. I have never seen one with as deep a color case as this one. Allen I had to sing 325 verses for I was out the door.

A nice find indeed! In the right place at the right time. One time I stood back and watched a fellow tradeing in a nickeled N frame, after the transaction I swooped in to see what it was, a very nice six inch nickeled 25-5, never got a tag on that one!

Adding close up of color case hardening on hammer on 15-3. Of all my Smiths this is the prettiest hammer coloring, by far. Trigger is just mundane compared to hammer.
