I inherited this, and not sure how to identify. Hoping someone can help.

Look for year of manufacture and anything else of relevance.

That is not a Model 66. I think it may be a .357 Magnum, built on the N frame, before the .357 Magnum became the Model 27. Looks like somebody had the whole revolver nickel plated.
