Default Model 37 find

Just picked this up, pics aren't great but...
What do you think? It's a 37, no dash with numbered to gun diamond grips, which puts it before 1968. No wear marks and only two small spots on cylinder. Grips have a couple of small dings.
Is $350 out the door with two boxes of shells, a pocket holster and a spare Pachmayr grip an OK deal?
Hope so because I love this little sucker.
Jim.

Excellent deal on a perfect carry revolver; lightweight, quality fit, nice blueing, no MIM, and no lock.

Default Many thanks

Thank you for all the kind words. It actually looks better than the pictures. I need to take some in natural light, as it looks like it has more blems in these than it really does.
Thanks again to all.
Jim.

I recently purchased a later production Model 37 and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Sounds like you got a good deal on yours.

I think you did very well. I recently bought a 37 for about the same money, but not as many extras.

I'm loving mine. Nice carry a lot, shoot a little gun.

I think you made a great find and good deal Jim. Hope you derive a lot of pleasure shooting it.

Last month I got lucky and picked up a 37 from an older gentleman who was attempting to sell to a LGS owner while I was in the shop. The shop owner asked us to step outside if we wanted to do the deal. We did and I gave the gent $200 and we both walked away smiling.

It should be a great "pocket gun" for the lightweight clothes worn here in Florida. John Mica is shipping one of his holsters for that purpose. Had it on the range yesterday with some other Smiths and it shot OK for this, at best, average shooter. I'm looking at the targets from the 37 and think it shoots Winchester 130 gr. FMJ and Remington 158 Gr. rounds about equally well.
