Smith & Wesson k22 revolver
I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if I'm not doing this post correctly. I have a Smith & Wesson 22 revolver that I'm trying to get more info on. I have the the Standard edition Smith &Wesson catalog 4th edition. I'm having trouble finding info I need in it. My serial number starts K6363XX. It Says 22 long rifle CTG on the barrel. The serial number is on the frame under the cylinder. It also says MOD 18-. Theres also a 5 by itself on the inside. Any help is appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
Pictures always help "Alot" but it sounds like you have a four inch barrel Model 18-2 by the serial number.

IIRC the serial puts it around 1965,
The four inch K22 was called the "Combat" Masterpiece and is not as commonly encountered as the six inch K22 Masterpiece so brings a slight premium in like condition.
Either way is a great shooter,
collector value is determined by condition and originality of the package, (if it has original box , docs, grips etc)

Welcome to the forum from Pennsylvania. I agree with Engine49guy that 1965 sounds right. You should enjoy that K22 quite a bit. They are high on my 'most appreciated' list. Looking forward to pictures.
