I have only owned the original box on two Model 36 revolvers. This newest one has 1-122 39 in the Special Features section of the label on the box. My Dad's 36- had HB, for heavy barrel.
Can anyone tell me what the numbers 1-122 39 mean?
Thank you!
I have no idea what Special Feature 1-122 39 means.
My very early, blue, square butt 36-1 heavy barrel has P402 written in bold red ink in the Special Features box. Since I bought the gun new in October 1966 . . . and don't know of any "special features" it has . . . I always suspected P402 was a dealer entry . . . e.g. a log book entry location.
