got a line on a 63-3... claims unfired but lets call it really nice. Blue cardboard box with paperwork, no tools. I think the serial number begins with SB. Questions, would it have come with wood grips? it has no name black ones, he claims are factory. And, value help?
The early 63-3s had walnut magna grips, but in 1994 they switched over to Uncle Mike rubber ones. The SB you mentioned is part of a product code -- not the serial number. The serial number will start with 3 letters -- probably starting with a B given the age of your gun.
Those J-frame 22 revolvers are pricey -- they compete with the new ones. I would not be surprised if the seller was asking $500 -- anything less and I'd jump on it.

Unless it happens to have a 2" barrel, in which case the number would be more like $800...
My 63-3 begins with serial number BNE. Bought in same condition, with box, wood grips as yours three years ago...525.00..four inch bbl... I used this gun to train my girlfriends boys on handguns. They love that gun...Whats the bbl length?..
