My Dad back in the early 50's was a prison guard for a couple of years...he was issued a K-38 Combat Masterpiece..when he quit is was given the option of purchasing his Revolver ...he did ....had it up until the mid-eighty's .. when his canoe over turned ..loosing his trusty K-38 ..
He never replaced his K-Frame ..he already had a J-Frame 3inch barrel ..which I have now....
