I added to my Smith and Wesson collection today.....traded for a model 10-5 with a 2" barrel. I have the big Smith and Wesson book but can't seem to nail down the birthday of my new treasure. Any help with this would be awsome !!!

If you are looking in the SCSW, the reason you can't find it is your Ser.# doesn't mean anything and your "Number on bottom of grip frame" is the Serial Number.
!975 late probably. It is a little ahead of the middle of the 1975-1976 date range.
