Question Would be this be a good one?

I have been looking and talking to folks about getting a concealable K-frame revolver that uses .38 ammo. Thought I had one lined up, but cash flow issues occurred. Then I found a model 10-5 in the .38 configuration. Since this gun was manufactured in the 1960's do you think it would be ok?

Seller would have to ship and only allows dry firing. The gun looks in good condition, except grips look worn. I don't care how it looks as long as it functions and is safe.

Thanks for the input.

Well, if it were me, I'd go to a gun store and handle the different models. There's just no way to tell what's going to work for you. Everybody is different.

All of the model 10's (I think) are .38 special caliber.

The model 10 is a great plane Jane working revolver. It would be hard to go wrong with one in good condition.

The model 10 is a great K frame revolver and would be hard to beat. The barrel length would be my only concern for concealed carry and I would be looking for a snub nose.

Exclamation

I guess that I should have added that this would be my concealed carry [the one I'm looking at is a snub nose revolver] for when it was not convenient to carry my model 64.

I really like those K frames....
