Chiefs .38 Special Target
I am going to look at a 36-1 Chiefs .38 Special Target on Wensday. It falls in the serial range for the 1008 made in 1966. It is suposidly is new in the box. I'll know more when I see it. He wants $650.00 for it, does this sound like a good price? I havent seen many at the gunshows I frequent. The blue book quotes $900 in 100% but I know the book is a guide because sometime prices are higher or lower than quoted. Any suggestions on prices would be appreciated.

I think this is a good price, not many come up for sale so a value is difficult to base on the current market. Please post photos when you get it!

I'd jump on it at that price. I've had the SS version 60-4 for years and love it.

I looked at the pistol last night, It was in a M-36 box but I doubt it was the orignal box. No papers etc, it was mint though so I bought it, It was only 80 serial numbers newer than the one I already have.
