model 36 3 inch serial # date

I saw a model 36 with 3 inch barrel selling for 450.00..Looks at least 95%..Serial # is 454XXX...It has a flatter cylinder latch release..What year was this made & is it worth the price?

#295,000 was from 1962 and went to #786,544 in 1969, so it's somewhere in there.
That's probably a bit more than I'd pay for it, but then again I'm cheap.
