Default Value of this model 17-2?

I'm not looking to sell this right now, but if I do, I was wondering what the value of this particular 17-2 might be. I ask because it has a unique set of features I think. What makes it different from most other K22s is that it has a target hammer, target trigger, diamond target stocks, and a ramped front sight with red insert. I assume the front sight is factory as it looks just like other guns with a ramped front sight and the gun shows no other sights of modification. Most all other model 17 K22s I've seen have the Patridge style front sight. Is this a more desirable feature set, or were these pretty common? What would you guys place the value range to be? Thanks much.

I like your gun. I'd think $550-$650 or so.

That's the first 6" K-22 I've ever seen with a ramp front sight.

I looked at a lot of Model 17's and that's the first one with a ramp sight that I have ever seen also. I think the price qoute above is right on.

That is one beautiful knockout of a K22! I believe the sights are factory. The red ramp front sight was available as a special order. I believe these were ordered a a full target package: target hammer, trigger and stocks, and red ramp front sight, usually with a white outline rear. Does this have a white outline rear sight? I have an 8 3/8" 27-2 from 1965 equipped identically:

That is a very nice piece and very nice stocks.

For 550 I'd take a half dozen.

My bet is more the 750 range. Looks about 96%.
Any box or goodies with it? I'm betting not, as that would tell you what it had...

Still think 750 range at online auction site....

I think the stocks ALONE would bring over a deuce.

Standard type 17's in -2, -3, and -4 in nice condition seem to be priced in the 550 to 650 range or more. That one looks like 750 to 800 to me.

front site looks like a model 18 sight. the red insert was done after the gun left the factory in my opinion.
