Default Grip question?

I am looking at a set of grips on another forum and am wondering if a set of grips made for a square butt N-frame will fit a round butt frame. The grips have a closed back-strap so that part will not be a concern. Any info will be appreciated... BG

They probably will fit, but how well depends upon the design. There may be some movement of the wood on the frame if the full frame is not supported by the closed backstrap.
